Car Amplifiers & DSP

MCOR AUTOMOTIVE · AMPLIFIER SELECTION

Choose power that fits your audio system.

Compare car and motorcycle amplifiers, integrated-DSP amplifiers, and signal processors from JL Audio, Audison, Hertz, Kenwood, Kicker, Sony and Axxess. Start with what you want to power, then check channels, speaker load, signal connections and installation space.

Power a subwoofer

Compare mono amplifiers and models with a suitable subwoofer channel. Match the amplifier’s RMS output to your subwoofer’s requirements at the final wired impedance. A maximum-power number alone does not establish a match.

Power speakers or a full system

Choose enough channels for the speakers you plan to amplify. A five-channel or other system amplifier may combine speaker and subwoofer power; check each model’s channel layout and supported loads.

Add power and DSP

Integrated-DSP amplifiers combine amplification with signal processing. Confirm the inputs, processed outputs, software and tuning requirements. Conventional amplifiers and standalone processors serve different roles.

Integration accessory: The Kicker KEYLOC shown in this collection is a line-output converter with signal processing, not a power amplifier. Use it to prepare the signal for a compatible external amplifier.

Choose your shopping path

For amplifiers, choose the brand and channel configuration you need. For a standalone DSP or vehicle-specific DSP package, check compatibility and remember that processing does not replace amplifier power.

Need a standalone DSP?

Keep amplification and processing separate when that suits your system. Compare Audison bit Ten, Hertz H8 DSP, Hertz S8 DSP and Axxess AXDSP-X. For a vehicle-specific Axxess package, use the Axxess DSP brand button and confirm the exact factory audio application. Harnesses and controls alone are not complete DSP units.

Considering Audison Forza with integrated DSP?

Compare the four bit models below. They have different amplifier-channel configurations; select the one that matches your system plan.

Forza AF M1D and AF M6D are conventional amplifiers without integrated DSP. Do not choose them as substitutes for a bit model when your system requires built-in processing.

Before ordering: Check the exact product’s voltage, RMS ratings, supported impedance, dimensions, input compatibility and installation requirements. Motorcycle or outdoor use requires a model suitable for the intended mounting environment; weather resistance is model-specific.
