Choose the right DSP format

  • Standalone tuning processors adjust signal routing, equalization, crossovers and time alignment before separate amplifiers. Check each model's input and output channels.
  • OEM integration processors, including JL Audio FiX models, help correct and combine factory audio signals. Their correction functions differ from a full system-tuning DSP.
  • Amplifiers with integrated DSP, including Audison Forza bit, JL Audio VXi and AudioControl D-series, combine power and processing in one chassis.

Plan the installation and tuning

Confirm source-signal type and voltage, required channel count, speaker impedance, amplifier power, mounting space, wiring and compatible setup software. Standalone processors do not power your speakers. Integrated DSP amplifiers do, within their specified channel and load ratings. All require setup for the installed system.
