The Sony XS-680GS 6"x8" coaxial speakers are designed to replace weak factory drivers with a true sound-quality upgrade. Part of Sony’s GS Series, these speakers use a composite polypropylene woofer and a silk soft-dome tweeter to deliver tight, controlled midbass and smooth, natural highs that stay clear even at higher volume.
With up to 230W peak power and 40W RMS (CTA-rated) power handling, the XS-680GS works well on head-unit power but really wakes up on a quality aftermarket amplifier. An effective frequency range that reaches down into real midbass and up through detailed high frequencies helps bring vocals, instruments, and imaging to life in everyday driving.
