Compatibility & Installation Requirements
Measure the full mounting span and tailgate travel. Confirm lighting-circuit compatibility and any trailer-detection electronics; the flat connector alone does not establish plug-in compatibility with every vehicle.
Use a fused power circuit and correctly rated wiring, switching and relays. Protect connections from water and abrasion, and verify mounting clearance through the full range of vehicle movement. Professional installation is recommended. Wire the reverse function according to the supplied instructions and verify every lighting function after installation.
Included Equipment
- RSTG60 tailgate light bar
- 36-inch lead with flat trailer-style connector
- Automotive mounting adhesive
