Compatibility & What You Need

• Required interface: PAC RP5-GM41. This part number must match the application exactly.
• Aftermarket radio: Sold separately. Confirm that it has the inputs and outputs required for every factory feature you want to retain.
• Application accessories: Camera, USB, satellite-radio, rear-seat-entertainment, antenna, steering-wheel-control, or firmware accessories may be required where stated in the table or current PAC guide.
• Programming: Use the current PAC firmware and follow the current product instructions before final testing.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended for data-bus radio replacement.

Important Application Notes

• Factory satellite radio is not retained, and a PAC-UP updater is required to configure supported vehicle settings.
• Factory-navigation models are not compatible.
• The HVAC backlight in vehicles with a monochrome display and the separate LCD above the factory radio are not retained.
• Buick Encore, Chevrolet Cruze/Equinox, and GMC Terrain require firmware 1.2.3a.4 or newer; 2015-up Chevrolet Trax requires firmware 1.5.6.6 or newer.
