• Required interface: PAC RP5-GM31. This part number must match the application exactly.
• Aftermarket radio: Sold separately. Confirm that it has the inputs and outputs required for every factory feature you want to retain.
• Application accessories: Camera, USB, satellite-radio, rear-seat-entertainment, antenna, steering-wheel-control, or firmware accessories may be required where stated in the table or current PAC guide.
• Programming: Use the current PAC firmware and follow the current product instructions before final testing.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended for data-bus radio replacement.

Important Application Notes

• 2012-2014 Avalanche, Sierra, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon models with factory navigation require RP5-GM32.
• 2014-up Silverado/Sierra 1500 models require RP5-GM51; 2500/3500 models use RP5-GM31 only with the supported non-navigation radio.
• Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans with diesel engines are not compatible.
• Fader control is not retained with a premium factory-amplified system.
• Satellite-radio retention depends on interface revision, steering-wheel controls, a driver-information center, and an auxiliary input on the new radio; verify the exact PAC guide before ordering.
• Escalating parking-sensor tones, lane-departure tones, and forward-collision warning tones are not retained.
