The MP 165.3 woofer uses V-cone® and Boundary Free Surround technologies to improve dispersion and generate high SPL from a compact footprint.

The included MPCX 2.3 passive crossover is tuned to take advantage of the woofer’s extension while ensuring a smooth transition to the MP 25.3 tweeter for a natural, balanced top end. A low parasitic-resistance copper filter coil supports efficiency, and the crossover provides tweeter level adjustment (0 / +2 dB) to match the tweeter output to the woofer and vehicle acoustics.
