The converter accepts up to 40 V RMS high-level input per channel and delivers up to 8 V RMS stereo RCA outputs for downstream amplifiers. A differential-balanced input stage improves noise rejection and reduces induced interference, while auto turn-on logic (signal-sense or DC-offset) provides a dedicated 12 V remote out for aftermarket components. Adjustable level and clipping indication simplify gain matching during setup.
