JL Audio FiX-82 OEM Integration DSP Processor is an active OEM signal-correction interface designed to derive a clean, full-bandwidth stereo signal from factory head units and factory-amplified systems. It corrects factory EQ curves, time-alignment, and channel summing issues that interfere with aftermarket amplifiers, DSP, and multi-way component systems.
The FiX-82 accepts up to eight high-level speaker inputs and produces two calibrated full-range RCA outputs. It automatically sums multi-channel factory speaker outputs (woofer, mid, tweeter) into a stereo pair, then applies corrective de-EQ and alignment to flatten the response. Calibration uses JL Audio’s dedicated test track for accurate OEM signal characterization.
