Audison Prima APBX 10 AS 25cm 250mm 400W RMS Flat Active Subwoofer The Prima
APBX 10 AS Active Subwoofer with 25 cm (10') driver features a dedicated high-
performance amplifier module that extends all passive box technologies, such
as 2S² (2 Sides/2 Sound) design, Plug & Play connection block and ultra
compact. The amplifier module, with performance of 400 watts RMS with the
technology developed - Li (High Efficiency/Low Impedance) which, thanks to the
absence of the DC voltage amplifier with an impressive efficiency of 90%
efficiency, is very close to the theoretical limit of class D. The elimination
of the voltage amplifier was possible thanks to the development of the new
dual-coil drivers, which bristle the entire technological background of the
primary subwoofers, but stand out for their extremely low impedance (0.16 ohms
for APBX 10 AS). This feature ensures perfect synergy with He-Li (High
Efficiency Low Impedance) technology that combines amplifier, speaker and
sealed housing to achieve low, loud and sharp frequencies. The control range
is complete and provides optimal control of low frequency emissions in the
cab. Butterworth Low Pass Filter at 12 dB / byte. with variable limit
frequency (50-200 Hz) can be bypassed when used with a pre-output AP processor
assigned to the subwoofer. With the adjustable bass controller (0÷ 6 dB) at 45
Hz, the user can highlight the playback at the bottom of the spectrum. The
high-level input for speakers on a multi-pole connector simplifies integration
with OEM audio systems, while the low-level RCA input is for connecting with
secondary sources. The automatic on/off function of the subwoofer ART
(Automatic Remote Turn-On) can be configured in such a way that it is via the
remote control signal of the source,
