This listing is one raw 10-inch, single-voice-coil, 2-ohm subwoofer—not a powered subwoofer or loaded enclosure. Amplification, an enclosure and installation wiring are sold separately.
- Single-subwoofer amplifier option: the JL Audio RD500/1 mono amplifier is rated at 500 W RMS into 2 ohms at 14.4 V, matching this driver's 500 W continuous rating. This pairing is for one 10W3v3-2; correct gain, low-pass filtering and enclosure design still matter.
- Enclosure first: use an enclosure designed for the exact 10W3v3-2 model and confirm vehicle space, mounting depth and secure installation. Review the sealed/ported specifications below; a box for another 10-inch driver is not automatically suitable.
- Complete the speaker side separately: explore C3-650 speakers and the RD400/4 four-channel speaker amplifier if your front/rear system also needs upgrading. The RD500/1 is for bass, not full-range speakers.
Planning two subwoofers? Do not parallel two 2-ohm 10W3v3-2 drivers on an RD500/1: that creates a 1-ohm load below its 2-ohm minimum. The 2-ohm and 4-ohm driver versions are not interchangeable when planning amplifier output. Ask us to check the complete wiring and power plan.

10W3v3 10-inch Subwoofer (500 W, 2 Ω)
This acclaimed Subwoofer strikes an outstanding balance in power handling, enclosure requirements and excursion to deliver excellent results in medium power applications. Several exclusive JL Audio technologies and proprietary assembly techniques are applied to the 10W3v3 to enhance linearity and reliability.
The 10W3v3-4 is best used with amplifier power in the 150W - 500W range and is optimized to operate in a compact 0.625 cu. ft. (17.7 l) sealed enclosure, or a 1.125 cu. ft. (31.9 l) ported enclosure. Detailed enclosure recommendations can be found in the "Specifications" tab.
