JL Audio FiX-86 OEM Integration DSP Processor is an 8-channel, fully active OEM signal correction processor engineered to extract a clean, full-bandwidth, flat audio signal from modern factory head units and factory-amplified systems. It corrects factory EQ curves, all-pass filters, time alignment, and summing artifacts that prevent high-end aftermarket amplifiers and speakers from performing properly when the OEM source must remain in place.
The FiX-86 accepts high-voltage speaker-level inputs (up to 30 V per channel), automatically sums multi-way factory outputs, and produces six discrete, full-range, low-distortion RCA outputs for downstream DSP, processors, or amplifiers. Calibration is handled via JL Audio’s setup routine using a dedicated test track (CD/USB) to analyze and flatten the OEM signal path.
