Its dealer description identifies it as a replacement for the rear-facing camera; simultaneous front/rear/interior recording depends on the host model and configuration. Do not assume all M8 models, including MD-8500, accept a third camera. For MD-8400, the optional 2K three-channel firmware conversion sacrifices 4K operation and is not reversible according to Firstech.

Technical Specifications

Manufacturer part number

MD-IC8000

Condition

New

Camera type

Infrared interior accessory camera

Resolution

1920 × 1080

Operating voltage

5 V ± 0.2 V through the compatible host

Operating temperature

-20°C to 65°C

What's Included

MD-IC8000 interior camera

Installation note: Confirm the host model, supported channel configuration, required cable and mounting position before ordering.
